Medical Device concept, "software" composedOf, cardinality
I noticed that the Medical Device concept has now a "software" composedOf but unfortunately the "cardinality for composedOf" is set to 0:1. Perhaps there was a good reason for it?
In many (complex) medical devices like e.g. a standalone MR, PET, CT scanner but also in integrated PET/CT, PET/MR, PET/CT/MR systems, there are multiple software packages working at the same time. (For example: An MR scanner can have: "syngo MR XA20" and "syngo.via VB30A_HF08"). There is, for example, a software package that acquires the data and a software package that reconstructs the images. The more you pay, the more (advanced) software packages you get. Moreover, in integrated systems there is usually a package for each modality.
Also DICOM allows for multiple software packages with their "Software Versions (0018,1020)" tag: https://dicom.nema.org/medical/dicom/current/output/chtml/part03/sect_C.7.5.html#table_C.7-8 https://dicom.nema.org/medical/dicom/current/output/chtml/part03/sect_C.7.5.html#sect_C.7.5.1.1.3 "Software Versions (0018,1020) is a multi-valued Attribute. For equipment that is composed of several components, it may be used to identify the name and version for each of those components. ..."
